What are your rates?

I offer reasonable rates determined by the size and scope of the project. You can expect to pay a flat fee, which includes research, meetings, phone calls, writing, and revisions. Expedited delivery and out-of-town travel are not included in the flat fee.

Do you offer graphic design services?

No. However, I’ll be happy to work with your graphic artist or web designer to create a professional-looking piece you can be proud of. If you need a web designer, I can recommend a qualified professional (who also happens to be my husband).

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. A contract protects both of us. It makes sure you get the services you want, and it also ensures I’m compensated.

Do you require a deposit?

There is a 50% deposit for most projects. When you receive the final draft you will also receive an invoice for the balance, which is due within 10 days. If your project is large, we can discuss breaking the fee down into additional payments.

What about revisions?

Most projects go through 1 or 2 revisions, but I’ll continue to work until you’re happy.

Will you be able to write about my business if you’ve never worked in my industry?

When you hire me, your business becomes my business. I will talk with you as well as research your competitors and your industry so I can write copy that delivers results.
